About the Song, from the artist
So I wrote this pop rock song with James Robertson (producer of Skye Sweetnam, Down With Webster, Esthero etc) as a summary of my musical experiences so far and as a way to introduce myself – hence the title! It explains that I sing multiple genres even Greek, as I’m Greek, and how excited I am to have released this first album, “On the Fly” ~ available everywhere. Currently on its 5th single release, I release a new, original song written by me and James on the 8th of each month!

My name is EFFIE.
I AM a Hellenic-Canadian vocalist, lyricist, songwriter, poet and author with acting experience. Formerly represented by Canadian Idol’s Zack Werner and Sanderson Law, I have received strong international industry interest and have completed countless live vocal performances. I have co-written and recorded two albums, the first with my rock/fusion band, Illusion, and the second as a solo pop artist. A personal favourite performance includes singing by invitation at Nana Mouskouri’s gala in Toronto.
