track highlight from the playscapes album out jan 27/2023. A musician’s life becomes a patchwork of places and fleeting connections. Playscapes is my inner journey from Estonia to Sweden, Finland, England and Japan. Staking out new territories for the accordion and redefining myself as an innovative composer. It is a unique recording with free-bass accordion, kantele, voice and electronics and I am one of the very few (female) accordionists in the world writing and producing my own music and pursuing an international career with it. You could say that my new album Playscapes sounds like a mixture of Olafur Arnalds electronic pieces and Patrick Wolf going electronic.
