“She/Beast” is a solo project by artist Katja Nielsen. She is vocalist and bassist in the Swedish punk act Arre! Arre!, who has a fan base worldwide. Their signature brand of riot grrl infused rock ‘n’ roll has won them the biggest awards in their native Sweden.
Katja is “setting out on a different path” with She/Beast. Her sound is Lo-Fi pop-rock with an eighties twist, part goth, and part synth-pop while retaining her keen ear for melodies.
In The Depths of Misery is the first of two EPs, collecting a series of songs written to come to terms with and deal with being diagnosed as bipolar.
