Ray Stevens was at No.1 in 1974 on the UK singles chart with “The Streak”. The song was about the current British craze at the time of streaking. Streaking was the act of running naked in a public place.
Saskatoon folk rock artist Scott Klein joins us today. Scott’s somber and sexy delivery sets his music apart and is an artist to watch. Today we chat about “Sunshine” and “What’s My Name”. These are two incredible releases part of his upcoming album to release this year.

Deeply personal and highly eccentric, Scott Klein’s latest single “What’s My Name?” renders people’s attention like new smoke in an old bar haunt. The rhythmic guitar notes are a grounding contrast to the inspired ghostly lyrics that are spurred by the Canadian landscape and by the experience of losing one’s self in oneself. “What’s My Name?” echos with Klein’s lonesome tenor voice and spooky meditative acoustics, this song’s style veers down a countryish road from displeasure to confession. With a narrator from Young to Lennon he lays himself bare in desire to show what is below the surface in a society that prizes individualization. This song showcases the connection that occurs when losing oneself in emotion.
