The US National Musical Publishers’ Association joined other organizations in seeking to sue YouTube. They claimed musicians were not being properly paid when their music played on the site. They united the legal action with those of several other companies, including Viacom and Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, and Comedy Central.
People change. I wouldn’t like to be accountable for the interviews I’ve done, or the person I was when I was 20, 21.

2002 – Robbie Williams’ hit song ‘Angels’ took the lead in the top 10 funeral songs in an annual poll of the most requested songs at funerals.
Williams’ hit surpassed Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’, which has occupied second place since 1996, and ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ by Bette Midler.
In nominating the song they would most like at their funeral, the results produced a list of top 10 pearly greats. ‘My Heart Will Go On’ (Celine Dion), ‘Who Wants to Live Forever’ (Queen), ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ (Gerry and the Pacemakers), ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’ (Monty Python), ‘I Will Always Love You’ (Whitney Houston), ‘Great Balls of Fire’ (Jerry Lee Lewis), ‘Imagine’ (John Lennon) and ‘My Heart Will Go On’ (Celine Dion)
They also reported some remarkable choices including ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ by Queen and ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ by Wham!
Happy 22nd birthday to Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes. His single ‘Stitches’ hit the top 10 in the US and Canada, and No.1 in the UK.
Both his albums debuted at No.1 on the US Billboard 200, making Mendes one of five artists to debut at No.1 before the age of eighteen.
