I call myself an Americana artist.
I grew up listening to Aerosmith and Alice Cooler and Kiss and Cheap Trick and a whole host of other ‘rock n roll’ bands before I segued into Steve Earle and Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dyland and Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen among others. All that became the foundation – the recipe if you will – for the kind of music I write. I’d probably say if you like the dark acoustic songs of Springsteen, you’ll probably like my stuff.
My voice is raw – I like it that way – it’s unique and has a genuine, honest appeal. I’ve been doing this songwriting thing for a long time, the singer part only a few years.
My newest release (written & recorded at home during this Covid meltdown) is called Rollin On.
