About the Song

The Toronto cinematic art-rock band paints with sound on Vagabond, a psychedelic cry of sovereignty amidst dreamy shoegaze atmospheres grounded in grunge. The haunting vocals of Tara Rice (vocals, guitar, fuzz bass, drums) are accentuated by the angular and ambient guitars of Sködt McNalty (guitars, synth). Inspired by the shadow side of Jesca Hoop and the found sound percussion of Tom Waits, the song carries the grit of early PJ Harvey that would appeal to fans of Metric or Blonde Redhead.
