Terry wrote this song as a tribute to celebrate the life of Richard Howard. A close friend of Terry’s, Richard was part of the local business scene in Niagara On The Lake, and with his husband David Johnston Richard co-owned Bogarts Bed & Breakfast. He passed away in 2020 to Glioblastoma, the same brain cancer which took Gord Downie’s life.
Aldo Petronelli, former co-owner of Britaly Bed & Breakfast, and mutual friend of the late Richard Howard makes a special appearance in the video with his dog Markus, becoming an integral part of the memory video in tribute to Richard.
